Self confessed movement addict, yoga teacher, yoga student and lover of vegan food!
Yoga has been part of my life since around 2014, prior to which I was a running addict with no 'off-switch'. I don't know if I found yoga, or yoga found me. Either way, I'm grateful for stepping foot on a yoga mat and the journey that has transpired from that point.
I was a practitioner for a couple of years before taking the plunge into teaching and have now been leading classes and teaching on retreats for 5 years.
Yoga for me is not about fancy poses, handstands, arm balances (although these can be fun things to try!)
Its about the way you approach your relationship with your body, recognizing what you need physically and emotionally from day to day.
Yoga's teachings go much deeper than the physical, although the physical is a great place to start.
